Craft Your Own Treasure

Hands-on jewellery workshops on the Costa Del Sol. From the magic of metal clay to traditional smithing, find your seat at the bench and create something uniquely yours.

KTB Workshops is the new home of the ArtAndaluz experience. While the name has evolved to sit under the KTB Jewellery umbrella, the outcome remains the same…whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned maker, the workshops are designed to be a creative escape.

The focus is on small class sizes, high-quality materials, and the sheer joy of making. You won’t just leave with a piece of jewellery—you’ll leave with the skills to make more.

My Philosophy

I believe that jewellery should be as unique as the person wearing it. My philosophy is rooted in the “Best of Both Worlds”: the limitless, organic possibilities of modern metal clay and the timeless strength of traditional goldsmithing.

By refusing to choose between the two, together we create pieces that capture the delicate soul of nature—the texture of a shell or the print of a dog’s nose—while ensuring they are finished with the structural integrity and precision that only traditional bench-work can provide. To me, luxury isn’t just about the materials; it’s about the care, the technique, and the story told through every hammer strike and hand-carved detail.

Meet Your Tutors

I am Katie and, together with Jacqui, we bring a mix of technical skills and relaxed energy to every workshop.

We are two friends who traded very different careers for a life of creativity in the Spanish countryside. We both qualified as PMC Instructors back in 2020, and together can offer dedicated attention to larger groups.

Katie a former pilot and event manager, “I traded the skies for the studio when I got hooked on the magic of Precious Metal Clay. I’m a firm believer that anyone can make beautiful jewellery  with the right guidance. When I’m not at the bench researching new techniques, you’ll find me in nature with my pack of dogs.”

Jacqui has a background as a Film/TV Animator and Graphic Designer – her life has always been about visual storytelling. Her inspiration comes from the Andalucían skies and the natural world. She’s spent years teaching everything from showjumping to flying gliders, but her true passion is helping people discover their own artistic voice.

The Studio Vibe

Our workshops are held at my studio in San Enrique de Guadiaro. It’s a “working studio,” which means it’s relaxed, unpretentious, and often home to a friendly dog or two. If you have any allergies or concerns about dogs, please just let us know in advance!

Preparing for your Visit

What to Bring? Just yourself and your ideas!

We provide all the tools, equipment, and base materials needed for your project. We do recommend:

  • An Apron: Things can get a little dusty (or sparkly!). (We do have a selection of aprons to use.)
  • Glasses: If you usually wear them for reading or close-up work, you’ll definitely want them at the bench.
  • Closed-toe shoes: For safety in the studio.

Refreshments: The kettle is always on. We provide a selection of teas (including Katie’s favourite Earl Grey), coffee, and biscuits to keep the creative energy high.
